$16.09 Per Lb. Ing.: ground beef, ground rice, spices. RECIPE: Kibe balls can be used with many vegetables and also in a sour sauce to eat with rice. The following are some vegetables which you can add kibe balls to: artichokes, peas, mushrooms, truffles, asparagus, fried potatoes, fried eggplant, dried apricot, quinces. SWEET PEAS WITH KIBE: 1 can peas or 1.5 boxes frozen peas, salt, allspice, 20 kibe balls. If you are using canned peas, fry the kibe in 2 tbs of oil. Add 2 tbs of water when the oil is cool. Let simmer for 15 min and add the peas. Let simmer for another 5 or 10 min.If you are using frozen peas let simmer for 20 min. MUSHROOMS WITH KIBE: 1 lb fresh mushrooms or 1 lb canned mushrooms, spice, salt, 2 tbs oil, 20 kibe balls. If you are using fresh mushrooms you do not need water; if you are using canned mushrooms use the liquid from the can. Wash and clean fresh mushrooms and place in a saucepan adding the salt, spices and the fried kibe balls. If using fresh mushrooms simmer 30 min or until mushrooms are tender. If canned mushrooms are used add to pan together with kibe and simmer for 10 min.
